QUESTION:

What Is Your Spirit Imagination?

ANSWER:

“Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” [Romans 1:21]

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” [2 Corinthians 10:5]

“It's just not just imagination, friends. My! His voice is just as audible as mine is to you. Just not when He stands there, it's not just what you just IMAGINE. I hear Him when He's walking, look at Him, talk to Him like you talk to me or I talk to you. It's a Being, not just a imagination. And I can hear Him when He sets His feet down, walks. When He talks, He just talks like I do. Oh, He's got a--a voice that's very humble in one way, and then very stern in another. His characters, no man could paint that. Just like if He'd speak, it'd turn the world upside down. Yet He's so meek when you look at Him, you'd almost cry.” [Led By The Spirit, Minneapolis, MN 50-0715]

“Friends, these things are just not something that you just imagine in your mind. I speak just as direct, and He speaks to me just as I'm talking to you now, not just imagination.” [God Revealing Himself To His People, Cleveland, OH 50-0813E]

“How many believes in Divine healing? How many believes that Christ healed you back there nineteen hundred years ago when He died for you? If you believe that, if your faith declares that, that you're healed right now, just as much as the sense of sight says that that's white; it's over. There it is. See? It's a reality. It's not just a myth; it's not something imagined; it's--it's actually, you know it. There's no--no doubt nowhere; it's just all wiped out; it's gone; you know it.” [The Second Miracle, Erie, PA 51-0729E]

“May the Lord Bless you. And I pray that He'll come visible in the meeting tonight, and will manifest Hisself to all you needy. First, you who needs him as a Saviour, no matter how clean you're living, how--how sufficient your church going is, how much memb... Remember, it was a holy church, a Bible believing church that condemned Jesus Christ and put Him to death. And those... Jesus declared those Pharisees, said, "You are of your father the devil." Religious holy men... See? Faith is something. You're saved by faith, not by imaginary but by direct contact with God, Who brings the supernatural life into your mortal being.” [God Commissioning Moses, Connersville, IN 53-0603]

“If those signs are not following you, then you're just imagining you are a believer. 'Cause Jesus said, "These signs maybe will follow? These signs shall follow," His last words addressed to the church. May God help you while we bow our heads just a moment.” [The Resurrection, West Palm Beach, FL 53-1205]

“When you are thoroughly convinced that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and in your heart, now, not in your imagination, but in your heart something echoes down there, and said, "Now, I am saved." that's all you need, right there, brother. Confess it out, and let your words go out. And then watch, watch your life from then on. No more than a corn could bear cockleburs, neither could that man bear evil fruits. He will have to bear good fruits.” [Jubilee Year, Jeffersonville, IN 54-1003E]

“Abel rolled him up a rock and made him a church or worship place. But when Abel come, he, by faith... Faith isn't something that's imaginary thing. I want you to get it. Faith is a direct revelation. See, if you only accept Christ as your Saviour by a intellectual, you haven't got it yet. You cannot say that Jesus is the Christ, until the Holy Spirit has revealed it to you. See, intellectual faith, that... Oh, if I could only get that one point right now to go down home in every heart. I'm thankful for this place, position right now. See? Oh, if you can only see this, you'll see the greatest thing you've seen in years. Look, not because I'm standing here saying it, but if you can understand how it is that faith is not something mentally perceived, but it is a revelation, a revelation of God, by faith, not intellectual, but by his heart.” [The Faith That Was Once Delivered To The Saints, Chicago, IL 55-0501E]

“When God walked with just man alone, by himself, he had favor with God. But when man begin to multiply, and begin to get others and others and others, then they begin to... Satan having a more of a range to work in. This man might believe a little bit, leaning in this way, and the other one, a little bit this way; then when Satan comes in, he just fires it on. Then it becomes this and that, and imaginations begin to come great, and then corruption sets in.” [The Ark, Jeffersonville, IN 55-0522]

“Let's take a little imaginary trip before the world ever began. Do you know Jesus was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world? Now, just take away the curtains, and let's listen to it just a moment. Then that'll give you courage for any thing you have need of. As long as you find it written here, just take a hold of it, God will--God will make it right.” [The Law Having A Shadow, Chicago, IL 56-0621]

“Faith can't find a--a resting place on the--the imaginary MINDS of man's self-made theology. It's got to have its resting place in the eternal Rock of God's Word. There it's anchored, because God said so. He said, "Heavens and earth will pass away, but My Word shall never fail." So we can be assured that His Word never fails.” [Gifts, Brooklyn, NY 56-1207]

“Every Word of God is a Seed. And if that Seed can be planted by the inexhaustible Fountain of Life, which is Christ, the believer has to drink beyond his imagination, drink and push out. Push out everything you have need of, 'cause it's in you when you receive Christ. And we are planted together in Christ. And He is the inexhaustible Fountain of Life.” [Hear Ye Him, Parkersburg, WV 56-1215]

“God, the Creator, Who created all things by His power, through His spoken Word... And everything that is, is the Word of God made manifest; the entire world was made. And how we do error when we try to ignore God's Word or try to limit God's power by our own imagination. For the very earth that you're setting over tonight, is only the Word of God made manifest. God made the world by His spoken Word. Oh, my! The dirt, all of the minerals, the gold, all the waters, and everything that there is, is only God's spoken Word. If not, where did He get it? Where did it come from? God said, "Let there be," and it was. Then what faith should we have in Him and in His Word?” [When Divine Love Is Projected, Sovereign Grace Takes Its Place, Lima, OH 57-0126E]

“Lord, Thou Who was before the world, Thou has seen every move. And I don't know one thing more You can do, Lord. You've fulfilled Your Word to the letter, gone beyond the boundaries of our imaginations. You've went so far until You stricken blind millions of people who grope in darkness tonight, because they have rejected to walk in light.” [The Mighty Conqueror, Chicago, IL 58-0110]

“In the days of Noah they had religion. They'd had it for two thousand years, like we've had Christianity. And there were critics just like there is now. And in the days of Noah what happened? We find out that Noah stood in that one door of the ark and built an ark which was contrary to any human imagination. It had never rained, never been a cloud in the sky. But God said it was going to rain. That was God's Word. God said, "Prepare an ark." And Noah prepared the ark, and stood in that one door, and preached salvation. And that's the only remedy for salvation.” [The Unfailing Realities Of The Living God, Jeffersonville, IN 60-0626]

“When God made a man, he gave him...he let...The devil took his head. God chose his heart. The devil through his imagination makes him imagine anything, gives him intellectual conceptions of the Scripture. But God gets in his heart and leads him by the Spirit; makes him believe things that his intellectual don't know nothing about. Amen! That makes me feel a little religious when I think of that, see. When God gets a hold of a man, he comes into his heart. That's God's control tower.” [Why, Phoenix, AZ 61-0128]

“People say, "Aw, he blesses himself." You know, make a little cross or something like they do now, you see, same thing. See? And, you see, it's a heathen trait, see, it's the heathens. "He blesses himself in his own heart, in his own imagination, in his own mind.” Therefore, if any man will serve an idol or keep an idol on him, or bless himself in his own imagination of his mind and serve idols, God said, "Man, woman, family, or tribe, his name will be completely blotted out from amongst the people." Now, is that right? How true. Idolatry did the same thing in the church years ago and does today.” [The Seventh Seal, Jeffersonville, IN 63-0324E]

“Before we can influence, we've got to recognize God, we've got to be clean, we've got to be humble. We got to get ourself down, and know, just keep imagining and knowing how little you are. You are nothing. I am nothing. And none of us is nothing, but He is all. He is worthy of all praise, O Lamb of God. What we need is to go back to the temple, we need to go back to the altar of God and to make an altar in our own hearts, where that we can surrender ourselves, and then see the Lord God of hosts come down in this last days and do what He did when He was here first. Then you'll understand it, and cry, "Woe is me!" [Influence, Chicago, IL 63-0803E]

“It is something that you possess, not imagination, if you really have it. It's just as real to you as any other thing that could be. It's just as real as--as you know that--that you're riding an automobile. It's just as real as you know that you're setting in the church. It's just as real as you hear my voice. It is a substance, not an imagination, not an emotion; but something that you have, and it comes to you by hearing the Word of God, and That only. "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing the Word of God." That puts it back to where your faith, then, is not in some individual. It's not in a man. It's not in a organization. It's not in a group of people. It's in God, because God is the Word. See? Your faith is in God. “Faith cometh by hearing the Word of God.” Then when God, by His Word…Not by what somebody else did, somebody else said, but by what God's Word said. He said, "Let every man's word be a lie, and Mine be true." [Perfect Faith, Jeffersonville, IN 63-0825E]

“We're so glad that we have a God, not just an imaginary god, an imaginary idol, an imaginary spirit; there's nothing imaginary about it: a true and living God Who lives with us and in us and works through us. Not making a statue to God, but we being living images of God... The Holy Spirit, not speaking through a statue, but speaking through a redeemed vessel: God manifested in flesh. How we thank Thee for this, the great Pillar of Fire following us, or we following It, rather, and for all the great manifestations of the same Spirit doing the same work that It's always done when It come to the earth. What a consolation it gives us! [Questions And Answers, Jeffersonville, IN 64-0823E]

“There stood Isaiah standing there, said, "A virgin shall conceive." A man like him in a day when... How is a virgin going to conceive? "Unto us a Son is born: a child is born, a Son is given. His Name shall be called: Counselor, Prince of Peace, Mighty God, the Everlasting Father. Upon the throne of His father, David, He'll reign. There'll be no end to His Kingdom." How is it going be? He didn't know. He just spoke what God said. It's beyond any imagination, intellectual. It's beyond any scientific research. It's the Word of God.” [The Invisible Union Of The Bride Of Christ, Shreveport, LA 65-1125]

“God has His way of doing things. These man thought they were doing God a service. Be careful! Not emotion, not enthusiasm, not imaginations, but it must be "THUS SAITH THE LORD," must be right.’ [Trying To Do God A Service Without It Being God's Will, Shreveport, LA 65-1127B]
