“And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,” [Luke 24:5-6]
“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” [Revelation 1:18]
“Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.” [John 14:19-20]
“Now, if you notice these ones was at the tomb early in the morning. They met two men, which were Angels in shining apparel, which said unto them, that He was... "Why seek ye the living--the living among the dead?" They'd went to the tomb and found that He was not there. And they asked this notable question, "Why are you seeking the living among the dead?" And he said, "When... These things He told you when He was yet in Galilee." Now maybe you might just read over the top of that, but let's study that for a moment. He said, "He told you these things when He was yet in Galilee." Why didn't they understand it? Why didn't they get it? And here's another great significance to it, that these Ones who told him this or told these disciples was at the grave, they must've been with Him also in Galilee. For they knew what Jesus had told them before His crucifixion. Oh, what a blessed thing. You see, those disciples didn't know those Angels were there. But they evidently was there, because they said, "Did not He tell you this while He was yet in Galilee?" And that fulfills what the Scripture said, that the Angels of God are encamped about those who fear Him.” [8-0406E The Evidence Of The Resurrection, Jeffersonville IN]
“Oh, it's hard for them to understand it, that our Christ is alive. He's not dead but He lives forevermore and He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. But we're so busy, took up with so many different things; the church has got so much to do and so busy about this and that, we haven't got time to look into these things. And if we hear it come from a messenger, "Oh, it's stories like they believed then. Oh, them silly women was over there it's hard to tell what they... They're making up something." See, we're too busy with other things. Why not take a little time to study it out? Set down before Him and "Come, let us reason together, saith God: though your unbelief be like scarlet, it'll be white like snow; though it be red like crimson, it'll be white like wool." But we are so busy. We've got to see that none of our twoness don't become threeness and our threeness don't become oneness, and so forth; we just got to be sure that we watch that. And what it is, Christ living all the time in His church, and we're--we're, as I said, carrying from morgue to morgue. And there we are. Now, that's just the way it was then; that's the way it is today, something on the same thing.” [61-0424 The Greatest News Flash In History, Chicago IL]
“Now, the message is, He goes before us: before us. He's not in a tomb behind us; He's before us, making a way. We are to follow, not to look back to the tomb, but to look forward to where's He's leading, for He is our Leader. We're to follow Him, not look back to the tombs. Mary, that morning well represented the bewildered church. She well represented it, because she was in the same channel it sits in today. What did she say when she heard Him speak? "Mary, what... Woman, why weepest thou?"  She said, "They have took away my Lord, and I don't know what they've done with Him." That's about the way the church stands today. "They took away my Lord, and I don't know where to find Him. I have tried all their communions. I've tried all their water baptisms. I've tried Methodists, Baptists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals, Catholics, and all, and I can't find Him. If the Scripture says He's the same yesterday, today, and forever, He's somewhere. If He's not dead than He's a living. He can't be living and dead at the same time." So Mary well represented the church; "They have took away my Lord, and I don't know where they--what they've done with Him.”” [61-0424 The Greatest News Flash In History, Chicago IL]
“Then, people think just because you go to church. Said, "Oh, that's all I have to do, is just go to church, be a pretty good fellow." That's wrong, brother, you're deceived. That's right. Esau was a pretty good fellow too. So was Cain a good fellow; both of them worshipers, believers. Cain was not an infidel; he was a believer. He come up, and built a church, and made a altar, decorated it up, and knelt down and prayed, and worshipped God. And God rejected him, because he didn't have the spiritual revelation. He come with a sincerity of his heart. Could you imagine a man coming up, knowing that it was between death and life, that his eternal destination rested upon his sacrifice, and would come wilfully ignorant? No, sir, he come with the integrity of heart and laid out... But, you see, brother, all your sincerity doesn't mean it. God has only promised one way.” [55-0312 The Seal Of The Christ, Los Angeles CA]
“The message still remains the same: Christ raised from the dead. Don't point a man to an organization or to some form of something, point him to Jesus Christ Who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He's raised from the dead and He is the one to look to. Today we want to point them to some of our great schools of theology, some of our organizations. But her cure came of her crying and her bereavement. Her cure came, her despair was over when she heard her name called and she recognized Him as her Lord. And she was asked, "Why are you seeking the living among the dead?" And Mary found out that her Lord wasn't in those dead creeds. And as soon as the church recognized, like Mary did, that our resurrected Lord is not in a creed, it's in a personal experience of the baptism of the Holy Ghost into the believer's heart... He's not in a creed. He's not in the church organizations. He isn't. He's in the hearts of the believers. He was not with their dead tombs out there, but He was alive.” [61-0424 The Greatest News Flash In History, Chicago IL]
“Now! And then, not only that, He sent Word to His disciples, His believing. "Fear not, for I am He that was dead, and is alive again forevermore. And I have the keys to death and hell; I've already conquered it. Don't fear anymore, for every foreordained, predestinated Seed of God shall come to Life when that Light spreads across the earth, of the glorious Gospel. In every age, It'll bring forth the crop that God ordained It to do." He had raised from the dead. Oh, what a wonderful thing that is, "I am alive, or quickened." The word means, the word quickened, the Greek word means that's something that's "made alive after death." Like the--the seed that goes into the earth, it has to die, every bit of the seed. It has to rot, every bit of the seed. And every bit of the life, that was in the seed, has to come forth again.  He was "quickened." Not only that. "And will send the same Life that quickened Me, the Power that brought Me from the grave, I will send It upon you, to quicken you, that where I am there ye will be also.”” [65-0418M It Is The Rising Of The Sun,  Jeffersonville IN]
“Then that makes Him Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever." There is how we know He lives. Because why? How do we know we live? Because He lives. And because we know we live, is because we're like Him, and we are in Him. And He said, "Because I live, you live also. I am He," in Revelation, "that was dead, and alive forevermore." And if--if we die to ourself and become alive in Him, we're alive forevermore. And then His Life in us is just like the life of anything else, It displays what He was. And that makes Him the same yesterday, today, and forever. Now how can you, when they deny That? Don't you see, "dead works"? Serve the living God, by the Eternal... I mean, the everlasting covenant of the Life that was in the Blood of Jesus Christ.” [63-0901m Token, Jeffersonville IN]
“Not only is He here alive, but you're alive with Him. The great hope that you have within your heart makes you alive. Well, even death itself has nothing that can shadow that beautiful hope that rests yonder in Christ Jesus to every believer. "Though he were dead yet shall he live, and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die,"” [56-0401M The Mighty Conqueror, Jeffersonville IN]
