September 2018 Newsletter Subject: I Have Heard Thy Prayer

“And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.” [I Kings 9:3]
“Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.” [Jonah 2:1,4]
“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” [John 14:13-14]
“Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;” [Hebrews 3:1]
Jonah said, "They are lying vanities." He said, "Once more will I look to Your holy temple," told God. Because when Solomon dedicated that temple, he said, "If Thy people be in trouble anywhere and look to this holy place and pray, then You hear from heaven." And he believed, Jonah believed that God heard Solomon's prayer. And he started saying, "I'll not look at this whale's belly. I'll not think about my backslidden condition. I'm looking towards Your holy temple and making confession." And God sent oxygen down there, and kept him alive for three days and nights, and delivered him right in Nineveh where he belonged. Well, if Solomon prayed that prayer, and if... There's no one here that's in the condition or half way like Jonah was. You ain't got nothing like the symptoms he had. Well, if he, in that condition, could look to a temple where it was built by hands of a man, and a earthly being, a man, Solomon, sitting and praying, and could have faith in Solomon's prayer, how much more ought you and I, tonight, setting here, look to the throne of God where Jesus stands at His right hand with His Blood there to make intercessions on your confession. Just refuse to have the symptoms.” [53-0219 Accept God's Gift, Tallahassee FL]
Symptoms is something like, say tomorrow, when you go home now, to your place, the express agent will come up and say, "Are you Mrs. Joe?" "Yes." "I have a present for you." "All right. What is it?" He hands over a--a basket, or box, and you hear something hitting in that box. You look in it. It's a big box of snakes, rattlesnakes. Well, you don't want them things. Well, you say, "I don't want them." "Oh, but they're yours. Somebody sent them to you. Here's your name. Here's the name. It's somebody sent these snakes to you; they're yours. You have to take them." Now, in one sense of the word they're yours, in another sense they're not. Somebody sent them to you, but they're not yours until you sign for them that you've received them. And when you sign you received them, then they're yours. But if you refuse to sign for them, he has to take them back to the express company. The express company has to send them to the one that sent them to you. Is that right? Well, don't sign for nothing the devil brought. No, sir. Just refuse to have it. No, sir. Say, "I just haven't got it. Devil, you take it all back. That's all. I won't have it." Refuse to have your sickness, your arthritis, whatever it is, "I just haven't got it. By His stripes I'm healed." Stand right on your ground. Confess it. Believe it. Stay there. God will bring it to pass. No matter what it is, just believe Him.”[53-0219 Accept God's Gift, Tallahassee FL]
“And if God would do that for a man who looked at a earthly temple, built by an earthly man who later backslid and turned to idols, if God would honor that man because he believed in the prayer of Solomon, how much more will He honor your prayer tonight, who don't have to look to your symptom or anything around you, but look at heaven where He sets in the Presence of God with His own Blood as an intercession for your sins, as He intercedes. "He was wounded for your transgression, bruised for your iniquity: the chastisement of your... was upon Him; and with his stripe you were healed." In the Presence of the Father, ever alive to make intercessions, think of it. Then what happened? When this taken place, she said, "If Thou would've been here, my brother had not died. But “And the whale kept him in his belly for three days and nights, and delivered him right in the right place. God just turned the whale around and taken him on a taxi ride across the country, till he got from Tarshish to Nineveh. And God kept him alive, because he said, "I will not look at my symptoms; I'll look to Thy holy temple." And if God did that, under those symptoms and that circumstance, how much more will He, tonight, under this circumstance with our symptoms, if we'll not look to a temple made with hands of man, but to the temple of heaven, where Christ sets at the right hand of God, making intercessions upon our confession. How much more will He deliver us? I will not look at my symptoms; I will look at what Jesus said: that, "By His stripes, I am healed," and I confess it, for God can do nothing for you until first you confess it. The Bible in Hebrews 3, said, "He is the High Priest of our confessions." Now, the King James has "profess." But "profess" and "confess" is the same thing.” [58-0503 The Queen Of Sheba  Hartford CT]
“Oh, brother, fight till every symptom's gone. Hallelujah! Fight till every--every doubt is gone. Say, "Well, my case is different." Take that jawbone and knock it out of there. This one said, "But, you know, I'm just a little different, I'm getting too old." Knock it out. Abraham was a hundred. Go on.  "Well, but my case is very bad." Jonah was in the belly of the whale, hands tied behind him, laying down in the whale's vomit. Everywhere he looked was whale's belly. He had plenty of symptoms, but he turned over and said, "Once more will I look to Your holy temple, Lord." Can't hide Him. That's it, persistent! Perseverance, stay right with the Word of God. Why did Jonah stay like that? Because he knew that when Solomon dedicated the temple, he prayed and said, "Lord, if Thy people be in trouble anywhere and look towards this holy place, then hear from Heaven, answer their prayer." And he knew this one thing, that God would hear that prayer.” [62-0218 Perseverance Jeffersonville IN]
“When God saves a man, He gives him a whole big checkbook. Now at the bottom it's got everything... the Name of Jesus wrote on it at the bottom of the checkbook. "Whatever you ask in my name, that will I do." Abraham's seed believes that. Just fill out the check and send it in. The deposit's already made. It's in the bank. How did it come through? Not through your righteousness, but through the righteousness of the righteous royal Seed, Christ. He was the one put the deposit in there. The deposit's in the bank. I believe it, don't you? Then don't be afraid to write out the check. The bank will pay it off. The Bank of Heaven will pay off every check. Yes, sir. First thing it has to go through the clearing house. That's right, to see if you really believe it or not. If you believe it, it'll pass the clearing house, don't worry about that. And the funds will return to you just as soon as she passes through the clearing house. That's right. If down in your heart you truly believe that's the promise of God, and you've accepted it in your heart, asked for it in the Name of Jesus Christ, it's coming back. God promised so. That's a heir. We're heirs of salvation and joint-heirs with Him. And we're heirs with Abraham, because we are Abraham's seed.” [61-0209 Jehovah Jireh, Long Beach CA]
“Now, when you believed you were saved, setting in your seat, out in the--wherever you was, you accepted it and begin to confess and tell people you were saved. Well, you kept on saying, "I'm saved."  The people said, "They ain't no difference in you," but you believed there was. Is that right? And you kept with your confession and after while it worked righteousness. All your neighbors and everybody knows you're saved now, because you believed it, you confessed it. Why, what happened? What changed you? He's the High Priest of your confession, setting at the right hand of the Father, making good what you're confessing. Now, that's the same thing it is by healing. You accept Him as your Healer, renounce your feelings. It's not by feelings; it's by faith. Say you're healed; believe you're healed; act like you're healed; associate with those who believe in healing; and God will bring you right out to a perfect soundness of health: will not fail.” [53-0219 Accept God's Gift, Tallahassee FL]
