MATTHEW 15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. MATTHEW 15:23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
GENESIS 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. GENESIS 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: GENESIS 4:5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
PSALM 65:2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. PSALM 65:3 Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away. PSALM 65:4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.
“That's what we got to come through: the shed blood.
And there Job offered the shed blood as he approached Jehovah, knowing that God would receive him not upon nothing else. If you approach Him today in the name of a good man, "I pay my debts. I don't cheat the government. I pay my income tax. I do all these things. I'm a good neighbor," yet
, God will never hear you. If you say, "I'm a loyal church member. I tithe my money. I gave good offerings in the church...?..."
God will never receive you, never, not at all. You say, "Well, my mother was a good woman; my father was a good man; my grandfather was a preacher. All that I do... I never did this; I've never stealed; I never drink; I never smoke; I never rob; I never do these things."
God will never hear you. And no matter who you are, how bad you've been, if you'll come God's provided way through the sacrificial blood, breaking and laying your hand upon the head of a dead lamb, of a dying lamb, and confess your wrong,
and accept him, then God will fill your soul with the Holy Spirit, burning out all iniquity and carnality, and making you a new creature.” [55-0501A Fellowship, Chicago IL], [Job 1:5], [John16:23]<
“Now, this woman, this Syrophenician woman, she believed also, this Greek. She said, "Lord." First she said, "Thou Son of David."
A Gentile has no hold on Christ by the Son of David; that was through King David, the race of Jews. He never paid any attention to her. But when she turned and said, "Lord, help me!" Amen, that got Him. He was her Lord;
not a Son of David, but He was her Lord. "Lord, help me!" That caught Him. And she... He turned around. Said, "
It's true the dogs eat the scraps from the masters' table. That is true."
Look what, that woman had the right approach to God's gift. What did she say? He said she
approached it right.”

“And if you
approach the Holy Ghost, the Gift of God, in the right way, you'll not only get crumbs, you'll get a plate full; if you'll just approach It in the right way. There's only one way to
approach It: that's not take your letter from one church to another; that's not run from one denomination to another; that's not for (See?) rep
eating what's called the creed, or the apostles' creed. It's not the apostles' creed. And if you'll rep
eat the right apostle's creed, it'll be all right. Acts tells you how to do it. Peter said on the day of Pentecost, said, "Repent." There you are. "Repent, every one of you and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." That's the creed. That's the way to do it. Yes, sir. She had it then.
She had it right. She was approaching the Gift in the correct way. And if you'll approach It in the same way, "Repent and be baptized," then you're sure to get the Holy Ghost 'cause God promised it (It's exactly right.) with an authoritative Word.”

“And God provided an approach there for Adam in the garden of Eden, that through the shedding of the blood of the innocent to appropriate an
approach to Him. Then Adam could once more come through the shed blood of the lamb, to the
approach, and talk face to face, again, with God through--through the Blood, through the
approach, that God provided for him.
Now, that was God's first method of approach to Himself for the people, through the shed Blood. It has been from that day till this day the same thing.
Through the shedding of Blood brings the approach to God. Now, many times God has give such as--as symbols and emblems and so forth, making a way to come to that Blood. Now, for instance, we'll take Job.”

“Now, what about the Christian approach? How do we approach? One day as God did in the garden of Eden, taken a innocent lamb, which was in figure, Christ Jesus, and slayed it for a covering, taken off the lamb, stripped the lamb, and put it upon the sinful man that he might have the covering of the innocent. God took His Son to Calvary and stripped His flesh from Him, pouring out the Blood, the life cell is in the Blood, giving up the Spirit that He might take the righteousness of Jesus Christ and cover the guilty. There's God's approach.” [55-0123A The Approach To God, Chicago IL], [Genesis 3:21], [Psalms 65:4], [Acts 2:37-39], [Hebrews 10:19]
“"That's My
approach," He said, "that's the way I'm asking You to
approach Me. I--I am your Satisfier. Do you believe it?" He said. Amen. "I am the One that'll satisfy you as you draw from Me, life. Abraham, you're a hundred years old, but you're just a baby to Me." See? Well, he said, "Look at my flesh, how it is wrinkled up. And my hair is gray, and my shoulders are stooped." "But I am the Life-giver." Amen. "That's it, Abraham." Do you see it? Abraham believed God then, 'cause he had a--a--
approach through a symbol, through a name.
So have we an approach through a Name, Jesus. What does Jesus mean to us? Saviour. Amen. El Shaddai to Abraham, Satisfier, Strong One, salvation Giver, strength Giver. The same thing that El Shaddai was to Abraham, Jesus is to the believer. Oh, my. Doesn't it just carry you away?”
